The Sentek IoT Data Transmission Unit (DTU) is a new product which combines the Sentek SM200 Modem, solar panel, and a rechargeable battery. It is a compact, low-cost and easy-to-install unit that provides an upgrade to the Sentek Plus DTU.
Features
- Built-in solar panel with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, which provides power to run the system and charges the battery
- Provides a 10 m operating distance from a smartphone for initial setup using a Bluetooth® connection and our app
- Housing is watertight to IP68 and is sealed from moisture intrusion
- Unit is designed to provide an easy method to open providing users access to use their own or Sentek provided SIM Card, or for other maintenance purposes such as replacing the battery
- A Mounting Bracket is provided that will allow users to mount the product on any pole using cable ties, pipe clamps or screws
- The DTU supports an external 7 dB antenna on the supplied bracket or 4m extension if required
- Requires Micro SIM Cards
- Supports the Drill & Drop™ brickless Stage 2 probe with 14-pin connector
- Connector fitted with dust cover to protect vent when no probe is connected
- Supports shipping mode allowing the DTU to be shipped with battery connected
