Known Issues

- The first few bytes of a message are lost coming out of sleep.
  See "Sleep Mode" in the Modbus Overview section of the Modbus Probe Interface Manual
  Note an alternative workaround to this problem instead of retransmissions is to
  transmit some data prior to sending the message.
  Suggestion is to transmit a single 0xFF byte as the wakeup character and then wait
  the minimum 3.5 character periods.
